Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

This is being used to replace a partical board dresser for myself. It was easy to assemble. parts were in very good condition. The size was perfect for downsizing from the large extended Dressers. Couldn't be happier. very nice looking, very sturdy.Best deal for the money and quality. Keeping their web site for future replacements of furniture.

You must open the drawers with both knobs; if you try to use just one, the drawers can stick and become slightly off track.

I tried to buy a less expensive cherry colored dresser that matched my other furniture. It only lasted 3 months so I bought this dresser. It was worth it. Much better quality.

This dresser is beautiful. It looks so much better than the picture. I bought it to match the Da Vinci Emily crib and changing table, and it does so beautifully. The color and finish are great, and the drawers are bigger than I expected. The only thing I don't like is that the drawer bottoms are somewhat flimsy, but we shouldn't have any problems putting baby clothes in it as long as we don't over stuff them. [...] my husband had it together in 2 hours with no problem with the instructions.
