About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

I like this changing table a lot. It will be very useful while I am actually needing it to change my baby on and then when he is older, will be a great TV stand. The directions, however, were some what confusing and were not very effective in getting the thing together. You definitely need 2 people to do it because there is a lot of times where some one has to hold it while the other person assembles. Perhaps that is why on mine, the doors are a little off....

The table works perfect for what we need. I don't know that I am in love with the drawer set up however.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changer in Coffee:
So after reading and researching we went with this changetable and matching crib in the "coffee" finish. The color as other reviewers for the crib have stated is indeed closer to a cherry finish not a coffee brown at all. The biggest disapointment (other than my spelling) is that that the only actual solid wood of the piece is the main frame parts. The shelves, doors, bottom, and side peices are cheap wood panelling press board or whatever it's called. The entire botom shelf is held to the main frame via 2 tiny little screws inserted from the bottom through the press board, so I would guess anything more than 5 lbs on the bottom shelf will rip the screws through. While the set looks very good it's over all quaility is moderate. Had we known we would have kept looking. The idea of you get what you pay for is bang on here.

I love the look of this changing table! I also love that you can store quite a bit underneath and it is all concealed within. This is a very modern and clean look. The coffee color looks great too!

This product was more difficult to put together than the crib, and the dresser put together. Parts all fit together, but it took some fighting with it!! The finished product is beautiful, and I love it just kind of a hassle to put together. Granted I'm 7 months pregnant and putting it together by myself!! :-)
