About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

the crib and changing table are beautiful! BUT both are hard to assemble because of shoddy directions. especially the changing table! the changing table was extremely frustrating to put together and the directions are LACKING. all in all the nursery look s great - but next time i would consider something more high end and easier to assemble or from a furniture store that does set up

The dresser is BIG. Really. BIG crib, with convertible crib definately big We have an older house with limited closet space and this with the changing table space allow oodles of storage. The coffee color actually looks a little more like cherry and not as dark as I had hoped. For the price, they are good pieces of furniture, but definitely scratch easily. I really like the unique shape of the crib and have had many compliments on it.
